ROW80 Check-In 8/10

Happy Wednesday and ROW80 check-in!

It has been an amped up few days, boosted further by a short story acceptance :)

Since last check in I have:
- written 8100 words on my current WIP
- edited another 20 pages of novel
- edited 5 pages of my novella
- written a very rough draft synopsis
- worked out each day, despite the fact that I didn't want to

I feel good about the accomplishments, but I admit that my brain is a bit fried, lol. Not sure if I can keep up this momentum or not, guess we will see. I'm working hard to stay positive and to stay on task.

For the rest of the week I'd like to mirror what I did above. Hey, a girl can dream.

How is everyone doing? I'll be stopping by to check where you're at on your goal path :) If you don't know what ROW80 is, be sure to stop by this link to learn more. Basically, it's a challenge that allows you to tweak your goals and make changes where needed - a challenge that understands that life happens, and where you'll find some great support along the way. It's worth signing up for. I hope that you will join us on the next round!

Okay, until next time I wish everyone a creative and productive day!

Marie

  1. Incredible accomplishments Marie! Congratulations on the story acceptance and for staying consistant with the exercise. It does get easier over time. Besides it looks like you'll need that extra energy to maintain a solid pace.

Best of luck through the rest of the week!

  2. Oh, wow, that's a great list of accomplishments! Well done! Instead of thinking of it as putting my own to shame, I'm going to see it as a goal to build my own up to.

    Keep it up!

  3. 8100 words is good word count. But doing the editing as well - bloody brilliant.

Personally I'm only very productive one half of the week. If it happened to continuously be the same half I would be able to plan for it.

    Dream on.

  4. Great progress! I particularly admire the working out since I don't do it even one day any week. Trying to rectify that.

  8. Greetings Gerhi! I am trying a new method with my writing - to do it in fifteen minute increments with a timer - and it took me 5 intervals of that fifteen minutes to get in a little over the 4k a day. I generally can't get myself to just sit and write that much all in one sitting. I've found I need to shake things up and do things differently to get my creative fire lit, lol.

    Thanks for stopping by!!
