ROW80 check-in

Good morning! I am late reporting for ROW80. It would seem that Sundays aren't the best for updates, or perhaps I was too lazy? Sunday was indeed a lazy day. Played mini-golf with the family and just kicked back. Saturday I didn't see much productivity either. I think that had more to do with the 95 degree weather, though.

This week is all about hitting the goals, staying positive, and staying on track. Today I'm in a good headspace and feeling motivated. I plan to finish and sub my steampunk horror short, write 3k a day, edit another 7 chapters on my novel, rework the novella, and finish first draft of current WIP.

Thanks again to all the wonderful support from fellow ROW80 participants...it has helped me more than you know!

  1. Marie, I think a lot of people either hit the wall this weekend, or took a much-needed break. It sounds like your break re-energized you, yay! I'm going to do some planning and thinking this week; I've been jumping into the deep end of the pool and drowning recently!

I hope your weather abates--95 degrees is pretty normal in my part of the world, but if you're not used to it, it can sap the energy.

    Have a wonderful week!

  5. couldn't survive those temperatures for long - and our summer has been much more like the ones I remember from way back - not hot, quite grey with anough rain to keep it a green and plesant land. Bit more sun would have been nice. I take my hat of to you even planning on doing any work - best of luck for this week - take care
